Academic Requirements:

A completed academic M.S. /M. Tech/B.S./B.E./B.Tech degree in mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering

Work Experience:

Required Skills:

Expert programming skills and knowledge of C/C++, Objective-C, Python, MATLAB
Development experience on Unix, Linux or iOS and OS X software technologies
Interest in microcontrollers, PLC, sensors, wireless communication, Computer Vision
Familiarity with path planning, motion planning, perception, vision systems, localization, mapping, control systems
Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System)
Should have good understanding of the automation ecosystem.
Good programming skills of PLCs (Allen Bradley/Delta/Mitsubishi/Schneider) , Industrial PCs, HMIs, etc.
Experience in programming/ servicing KUKA/Yaskawa/ABB/Fanuc arm robots.
Experience with robot integration with PLC.
Experience with information solutions and programming will be a plus. (Crystal Reports/Metrics/SQL/VBA etc.)
Expert knowledge in motion programming (servo, stepper drives etc.), pneumatics, safety devices etc.
Experience with allied technologies like vision sensing, barcode/RFID, instrumentation devices.
Experience in working with machine OEMs or SPM manufacturers.
Certifications in Robot Programming from OEMs like Kuka, ABB, Yaskawa will be highly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
